Job Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical Consultant to support ongoing implementations, enhancements, and optimization of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP EWM, ABAP development, RF frameworks, and integration with other SAP modules. This role involves close collaboration with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver robust and scalable warehouse management solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Design, develop, and implement custom solutions in SAP EWM using ABAP, BOPF, BRF , and enhancement frameworks.

 

Configure and support Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, Slotting/Rearrangement, Physical Inventory, and Post-Processing Framework (PPF).

 

Develop and enhance RF screens, including ITS Mobile and EWM Mobile solutions.

 

Work on interfaces between EWM and other SAP modules (MM, SD, QM, TM) using IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services.

 

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.

 

Participate in blueprinting, requirement gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.

 

Collaborate with functional consultants for design validation and testing support (SIT, UAT).

 

Provide go-live support, post-production stabilization, and continuous improvement.

 

Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

7 years of SAP experience with minimum 4 years in EWM Technical.

 

Strong hands-on experience with:

 

ABAP (OO ABAP, Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs)

 

BOPF framework

 

BRF

 

PPF Actions configuration

 

RF Framework & ITS Mobile

 

Experience integrating SAP EWM with ECC/S4HANA modules (MM, WM, SD, QM, TM).

 

Working knowledge of EWM Monitor, Warehouse Cockpit, and Queue Management.

 

Experience troubleshooting interfaces (IDoc, RFC, SOAP/OData services).

 

Strong understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain operations.

 

Nice to Have

 

Experience with S/4HANA EWM (Embedded or Decentral).

 

Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 for EWM applications.

 

Experience in handling automation solutions (AMRs, Conveyors, ASRS).

 

Previous experience in large-scale warehouse rollout projects.
