• Compounder: 1st Shift — 12 PM–8 PM (Sunday–Thursday, Friday as needed)
  
  

Pay Rates

• Compounder: $23.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)
  
  

Summary

The Compounder are responsible for blending, mixing, and preparing batches of raw materials in accordance with written specifications, procedures, and GMP standards. These positions ensure consistent product quality, safe operations, and accurate documentation. Both roles report directly to the Compounding Manager.

Key Responsibilities Compounder

• Follow written orders (W.O.) and batching instructions precisely.
• Measure and transfer materials using pumps, filters, hoses, and scales.
• Perform necessary calculations during batching steps.
• Prepare moderately complex bulk product batches of various types.
• Clean and sanitize tanks, tools, and related equipment after each batch.
• Properly handle and label chemical containers and hazardous waste.
• Maintain detailed batch and process documentation.
• Operate forklifts safely as a certified driver.
• Respond to and clean up spills and leaks as needed.
• Uphold all GMP and OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
• Compounder: 1–2 years of related manufacturing or compounding experience.
• Technical Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to operate equipment safely.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment with dust and allergens.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• English reading, writing, and math proficiency.
