BUSINESS SYSTEMS & DATA ANALYST

Job Summary

The Business Systems & Data Analyst serves as a key liaison between enterprise business operations and core systems such as JAMIS ERP, ADP, and other enterprise platforms.  This role focuses on understanding business processes, database schemas, and application logic to ensure system configuration, reporting, and integrations align with operational and compliance requirements.  The Analyst supports enterprise transformation and modernization initiatives by translating business requirements into effective system and data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business workflows and map requirements to system functionality within JAMIS ERP, ADP, and related enterprise applications
• Interpret database schemas, relationships, and embedded business rules across enterprise systems
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and system requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical documentation
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and reporting consistency across systems
• Assist with system enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives
• Ensure alignment between business logic, system configuration, and compliance requirements
• Serve as a subject matter resource for cross-functional teams implementing process and system improvements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Experience working with ERP, HR, payroll, or financial systems such as JAMIS, ADP, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of database concepts, schemas, and business logic
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting enterprise system modernization or transformation efforts
• Familiarity with government contracting, compliance, or audit environments
• Experience supporting system integrations and data reporting initiatives
• Experience working in cross-functional business and technology teams
