The Role

Vsimple is hiring a Product Manager to drive product clarity and execution across the organization while working closely with leadership, engineering, customers, sales, and support.

This role will be largely responsible for shaping, maintaining, and executing against the product roadmap, ensuring priorities are well-defined, well-communicated, and grounded in customer needs and market realities.

Responsibilities

Product Discovery & Customer Engagement

• Meet directly with customers to understand workflows, operational challenges, and evolving needs
• Translate real-world business processes into scalable product solutions
• Partner with sales and support to incorporate insights from demos, implementations, and active accounts

Product Definition & Specifications

• Write detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Clarify scope and requirements for engineering before and during development
• Ensure features are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with customer expectations

Roadmap Contribution & Prioritization

• Maintain and evolve the product roadmap
• Help prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, strategic value, and development effort
• Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform scalability

Sprint Planning & Delivery

• Actively participate in sprint and release planning
• Work closely with engineering throughout the sprint cycle to answer questions and manage trade-offs
• Support timely delivery while maintaining a high standard of product quality

Product Analytics & Insights

• Define and monitor product metrics to understand feature usage and effectiveness
• Use data to inform prioritization, iteration, and roadmap decisions
• Identify friction points and opportunities for improvement across the product

Competitive & Market Analysis

• Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to understand positioning and trends
• Share insights with leadership to inform product and go-to-market strategy

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the primary product point of contact across engineering, sales, support, and leadership
• Support internal teams with product knowledge, documentation, and demos
• Help ensure alignment as the platform evolves

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS environment
• Familiarity with AI enabled product features
• Experience owning product specifications and working closely with engineering
• Strong ability to translate complex workflows into actionable requirements
• Experience participating in sprint planning and agile development processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Comfort operating as the sole Product Manager in a growing company

Preferred

• Experience with B2B SaaS that targets industrial businesses
• Experience working directly with customers in configurable or process-heavy software
