Job Details

- Shift: 4x12-Hour Nights (48 Hours/Week)
- Weekly Pay: Up to $3,357.20
RN Emergency Room Responsibilities
- Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform rapid patient triage and emergency nursing interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments.
- Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and other healthcare professionals.
- Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Follow hospital safety, infection control, and emergency protocols.
Requirements
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency assessment skills
