What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician position at VSH Consulting?
- Prepare and set up the endoscopy room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Assist healthcare professionals in performing endoscopic procedures by providing technical support and maintaining a sterile field.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Retrieve and process specimens for laboratory analysis, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of procedures performed, patient vitals, and any complications or adverse events.
- Assist with patient positioning and comfort during endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor patients during procedures, promptly reporting any changes in their condition to the healthcare team.
- Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of endoscopy equipment, coordinating repairs when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,372.00 - $1,472.00 per week

(IAHCSMM) or (CBSPD) and SGNA preferred
Sterile processing training course strongly preferred.
