This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions that ensure secure, compliant access to enterprise systems. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and maintaining IAM platforms, managing user lifecycle and access provisioning, monitoring access controls, and troubleshooting access-related issues. The IAM Specialist will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate SSO, MFA, and identity governance tools, support risk assessments and audits, and recommend improvements to policies and procedures. The role also involves documenting configurations, maintaining technical and process documentation, and contributing to continuous enhancement of the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications
- Strong Identity and Access Management skills, including user lifecycle management, role-based access control, and identity governance.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, ForgeRock, CA IDM, OneLogin, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.
- Experience with risk assessment, threat analysis, and security monitoring, including supporting SOC 1/SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work with cross-functional IT and security teams, translating business requirements into secure IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and documenting technical configurations and processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific IAM certifications are a plus.
