SUMMARY: The Shipping Inspector Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all outgoing aviation accessories/components, and materials meet regulatory, customer, and company requirements prior to shipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards while supporting on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Perform shipping duties: verify P/N’s, obvious damage on units, shipping instructions, and shipping addresses, verify commercial invoices, (MS) Memo of Shipment, and proformas when shipped directly to third parties, create airway bills and inspection of customer’s crates prior to shipping final goods, send invoices, and contact carriers to schedule pickups.
- Verify that Repair Orders (R.O.s) match materials being shipped out.
- Review documentation for accuracy including airworthiness certifications (e.g. FAA 8130).
- Verify compliance with customer-specific shipping instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Direct communication with customer service for incomplete documents, returns, and other discrepancies.
- Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
