SUMMARY: The Chief Inspector performs inspection of aviation accessories in accordance with the current technical data provided in the Component Maintenance Manuals, Services Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations and Quality procedures acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

- Ensure all maintenance and inspections adhere to FAA regulations, including FAR Part 145 requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction with quality and timeliness.
- Review and approve inspection checklists, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or non-conformances identified during inspections.
- Monitor and report on inspection trends to improve processes and maintain high standards.
- Conduct final airworthiness inspections and sign off on return-to-service authorizations.
- Communicate with customers regarding inspection results, discrepancies, and repair requirements.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to inspectors and technicians.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in aviation maintenance and inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
