Job Overview
Villa Serena Communities is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing maintenance team. This position is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in multi-family apartment communities throughout the Houston area. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong work ethic who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional service. Your mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills will drive successful installations, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install new HVAC systems, including condensers, air handlers, furnaces, evaporator coils, and related equipment.
- Replace existing HVAC units in residential and multi-family apartment communities.
- Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company safety standards.
- Test and inspect newly installed systems to verify proper operation and performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately install or repair complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, property managers, team members, and residents as needed.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations for refrigerant handling and other environmental standards during system servicing
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a focus on HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- Service technician experience working with HVAC/R equipment in residential settings.
- HVAC Certification required.
- Experience installing HVAC systems in residential and/or multi-family communities.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation procedures and best practices.
- Ability to safely lift and move HVAC equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
