Title: OMNI Subject Matter Expert Location: 3 days a week on site - Florham Park NJ Duration: 6 month
Must Haves:
FIS OMNI
**401k calculations and Rules
In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).
Able to have discussions around technical design. Able to know how a system works, etc.
Creating and Documents business and technical requirements
SQL; basic queries
Agile and JIRA.
Worked within client facing projects in software delivery.
Nice to Haves:
COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL/ PROC on IBM mainframe.
Programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs.
JOB DESCRIPTION Summary
Hands on analyst/programmer to work in an Agile environment, helping to document business requirements and partner / design technical flows/solutions with 6-10 years experience and Prior experience in Wealth Management technology organizations or expertise with understanding of the 401k retirement products.
Responsibilities
Provides technical & business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems.
Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications.
Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors.
Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed.
Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable or brings other domain knowledge that improves the overall function of the business to team interface.
Constantly looks for ways to improve the interaction with the business and the quality and speed of the requirements gathering and requirements building.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Wealth Management/Retirement Services technology
Mandatory Skills 6 years relevant industry experience
SQL knowledge
Mainframe COBOL experience
Experience with OmniPlus recordkeeping system
Experience with FIS
Analytical experience
Proficient with AGILE and SCRUM methodology and ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong application debugging skills
Must be able to work autonomously with minimum supervision
Salary : $55 - $60
