Our Noblesville office also offers an alternative location for employees' northeast of Indianapolis.

Your Role as a Design Engineer
- Develop complete construction documents and specifications
- Participate and assist the team with creative planning, design and construction inspection of various civil engineering projects
- Lead the preparation of planning documents, engineering plans, details, reports, specifications and construction cost estimates
- Coordinate with clients, regulators and permitting agencies
- Contract administration and bidding support
- Compete field assignments as needed for data collection and field checks
- Prepare and contribute to portions of water resources project proposals, change orders, client contract and communication pertaining to specific projects.
- Generating water resources designs aligning with the most up to date design standards
- Research and prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Registered Professional Engineer in IN or KY or OH
- 5-7 years' experience in designing water resource projects.
- Background working on public sector design projects like INDOT, county, and municipal design projects, etc.
- Experience with water and/or wastewater, combined sewer overflow consolidation, and municipal program management.
- Preferred technical knowledge / computer skills:
- MicroStation/AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ArcGIS, GIS, ArcMAP
- Experience with various water resources software modeling packages.
- Drainage software including StormCAD and CDSS
- Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- Adobe
- Willingness to take on new challenges, skills, and competencies in a full-service engineering firm.
- Ability to effectively discuss project timeline and issues with internal teams, clients and review agencies.
- Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions
- Capable of solving complex problems using professional judgement, creativity, collaboration, and innovation
- Excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail/quality of work produced.
