Position Summary
The Deli Manager will oversee the daily operation of the deli while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Schedule
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Typical shift: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Rotating Saturdays required
- Sundays off
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve fresh deli menu items
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen and deli equipment safely
- Monitor food safety and sanitation procedures
- Receive, stock, and rotate inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Help train and support team members
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Work closely with the owners to help build a successful new business
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and professional
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Food service experience preferred but not required
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
