VRHabilis, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking a dependable, versatile individual to manage our shop and maintain our fleet, equipment, and property.
A military background as a mechanic is preferred.
Military veterans are encouraged to apply, but veteran status is not required.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes ownership of their work, solves problems, and completes tasks successfully with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include:
· Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
· Perform preventive maintenance and maintain service records.
· Perform welding, fabrication, and general repairs.
· Maintain the grounds and overall appearance of the property.
· Keep the shop, tools, parts, and supplies organized and ready for use.
· Identify maintenance needs, prioritize work, and follow through to completion.
· Travel occasionally to deliver or retrieve equipment, including trips requiring one to two days of travel each way.
We are looking for someone with:
· Strong vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance and repair skills.
· Welding and/or fabrication abilities.
· Practical skills in grounds maintenance and general property upkeep.
· A CDL, or willingness to obtain one.
· The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when outside expertise is needed.
· Dependability, initiative, and pride in a job done right.
We need an all-around shop professional who can handle a wide variety of tasks and keep our vehicles, equipment, shop, and property in good working order.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
