Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for property management? We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee operations at a premier residential community. You will be fully accountable for all property operations, leading the site team to achieve exceptional results. Your role will involve maximizing occupancy, increasing property values, and minimizing operational expenses, all while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all property operations in alignment with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations including Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Prepare budgets and manage expenses, ensuring timely rent collection and adherence to lease terms.
- Hire, train, and motivate on-site staff to achieve operational goals and facilitate team development.
- Maintain property curb appeal and office cleanliness, and promote company values.
- Conduct market surveys and implement effective marketing plans to maintain high occupancy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, enhancing resident retention and overseeing lease renewal programs.
- Maintain accurate records and oversee all accounting transactions and vendor management.
- Respond to emergency situations and ensure all reports are prepared accurately.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in property management or a related industry, with a minimum of two years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
- Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, Fair Housing regulations, and OSHA & EPA requirements.
- CAM® or ARM® designation is preferred.
- High school degree required; some college education preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
