Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as organizing inventory, moving supplies, and supporting team members as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with
driver or courier roles is preferred. - Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving in various conditions.
- Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission confidently.
- Experience handling heavy lifting, moving items, or warehouse work is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks to load/unload cargo safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform manual tasks efficiently.
