Role: Automation Engineer Validation & Deployment Integration
Location: Charlotte, NC (Day 1 Hybrid – 3 days office in a week)

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing and validation frameworks for software releases, patches, and deployment packages
- Develop automation solutions to support deployment integration, system validation, regression testing, and release certification processes
- Integrate automated validation checks into CI/CD pipelines to improve release readiness and reduce manual intervention
- Streamline and optimize patch certification workflows to reduce cycle time while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate with software development, QA, DevOps, release, and infrastructure teams to define validation criteria and deployment success metrics
- Create reusable automation scripts, tools, and test harnesses to support multiple products, environments, and release scenarios
- Identify gaps in existing validation and deployment processes and implement automation improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
- Troubleshoot failures in automated tests, deployment pipelines, and integrated environments to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Monitor deployment and validation outcomes, analyze trends, and recommend enhancements to improve confidence and predictability
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for automation frameworks, validation procedures, deployment workflows, and support processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to release engineering, test coverage, deployment quality, and operational stability
- Ensure automation practices align with organizational standards for security, compliance, and system reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in automation engineering, software testing, validation, DevOps, or deployment engineering
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks, validation methodologies, and software release processes
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or similar
- Experience working with source control systems such as Git
- Understanding of deployment workflows, release management, and environment integration practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional technical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with enterprise deployment tools and release orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of system integration testing, regression testing, and performance validation
- Experience in highly regulated, quality-driven, or large-scale production environments
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and reporting tools used to assess deployment and validation health
