POSTED ON 3/23/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/2/2026

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Why Join Our Practice?

At VRA Vision, we aren’t just looking for an employee; we’re looking for a partner in patient care. As an independent retina practice, we offer a close-knit atmosphere. You won’t be just a number; you’ll be a vital part of a team saving people’s vision every single day.

  • High-Impact Work: You’ll be at the forefront of advanced medical technology, helping patients manage complex retinal conditions.

What You’ll Do (The Impact)

You are the "right hand" to our physician. You’ll be the key patient-facing team member, ensuring their visit is efficient, informative, and compassionate.

  • Patient Workups: Measure visual acuity and eye pressure (using iCare and Tonopen).
  • Advanced Imaging: Capture high-resolution OCT and retinal images (we’ll train you!).
  • Clinical Support: Update EHR records, prep patients for in-office procedures (eye injections, lasers, etc), and assist with patient education.
  • Flow Management: Keep the clinic humming by coordinating with the doctor and fellow technicians to ensure every patient feels heard and cared for.

What We’re Looking For

We value attitude and aptitude over a long list of certifications.

  • Experience: 1 years in a medical setting is preferred
  • The "Hustle" Factor: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy staying busy.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with computers and electronic health records (EHR).
