What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garage Valet Attendant position at VPNE?
The role of the Garage Valet Attendant is to make a fantastic impression on every guest by engaging with our guests and customers in a positive and friendly manner and being responsible for parking and retrieving their vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility safely.
Schedule: Mon - Fri 5 AM - 1 PM
Responsibilities
Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times
Continuously safely operate vehicles to minimize the potential for accidents
Keep track of keys and cars throughout the garage
Provide exceptional guest experience
Maintain organization at operation
Be enthusiastic about the job, creating a positive environment for the customers and teammates to enjoy
Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices
Help facilitate transition at the end of the shift
Look sharp and neatly groomed at all times
Cleaning duties as assigned
Adhere to VPNE attendance policy
Requirements
Friendly and Outgoing
Able to smile during customer interactions
Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Ability to run and move quickly
Ability to organize cars efficiently
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid Driver's License in the state of residency
Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
Ability to create relationships with customers
Be organized
Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider
