Technologist Position
Job Summary
A Technologist to join Eljen Technology team in Sweetwater, Texas. The Technologist will support chemical manufacturing, product development and quality control in compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
Duties / Responsibilities
· Performs laboratory tasks safely with due attention to safety data sheets and in compliance with environmental Health & Safety standards.
· Follows standard operation processes sufficiently and satisfactorily
· Maintains comprehensive documentation on assigned projects and discusses the same with supervising manager.
· Operate equipment as directed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
· Excellent attention to details

· Diligent worker
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Education / Experience
· High School Diploma with related laboratory work experience required.
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Exposure to various chemicals and compounds.
· Must identify, select and use proper PPE at all times
