Earn $0.80 per mile driving refrigerated freight with VP Star Inc. We’re looking for dependable CDL-A drivers who take pride in safe driving, on-time deliveries, and professional communication.
Pay & Miles
- Starting at $0.80 per mile, with higher rates based on experience and qualifications.
- Approximately 3,500 miles per week on average, depending on freight, scheduling, and available driving hours.
- $2,800 in gross weekly pay. Actual earnings vary.
- 1099 contractor position: payments without tax withholding;
Schedule & Routes
Choose the schedule that works for you:
- 3 weeks on the road / 5 days home
- 4 weeks on the road / 7 days home
We operate throughout the lower 48 states, with most routes along and north of I-70.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport refrigerated freight.
- Monitor reefer operation and required load temperatures.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and follow DOT regulations.
- Communicate promptly about deliveries, delays, and equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical certificate.
- Safe driving record.
- Ability to meet applicable driver qualification requirements.
- Dependability and clear communication.
- Reefer experience preferred.
