SAP ABAP Developer
Screening: Candidates will be evaluated on their SAP ABAP programming proficiency, including ALV reporting, enhancements, and OData services.
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support custom SAP applications that enable smooth business operations and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ALV Reports, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs), and OData service development for SAP Fiori/UI5 integration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, ALV reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
- Implement User Exits, BADIs, and BAPIs to extend standard SAP functionality.
- Develop and expose OData services to integrate SAP with Fiori, mobile, and external systems.
- Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and debugging for efficiency and reliability.
- Support full software-development lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Solution Manager.
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong command of ALV reports, enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs), and OData services.
- Experience in module-specific development (FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP).
- Familiarity with RFCs, IDocs, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and BDCs is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration with external platforms (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Azure) preferred.
- Basic understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
