VP Aviation is hiring Structures Mechanics for contract work supporting MRO heavy maintenance on commercial aircraft in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This is a solid contract opportunity for experienced Structures Mechanics who are comfortable in heavy check environments and ready to get to work.
Pay
- $1,280 per week at 40 hours
- Overtime not included in weekly rate

What You’ll Be Doing
- Fabricating, repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures on commercial aircraft
- Supporting heavy maintenance and C-check work
- Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Using required tools, gauges, and instruments to complete assigned work
- Documenting work performed and following approved maintenance procedures
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of aircraft maintenance repair experience
- Heavy maintenance and C-check experience required
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Contractor-Friendly Approval
Structures Mechanics who have previously worked contract assignments in Jacksonville, FL; Wilmington, OH; Tampa, FL, and similar MRO environments are typically easily approved for this role.
