Key Responsibilities
- Support sales activities including invoicing, quotes, confirmations, and customer follow-ups.
- Act as the main link between sales, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Sourcing – quote and negotiate prices from overseas or international suppliers
- Product costing based on actual costs
- Stock management
- Quote and coordinate domestic & international shipments with carriers and various storage facilities.
- Track loads, deliveries, and documentation through completion (inbound / outbound)
- Manage and dispatch samples to customers
- Manage logistics paperwork (BOLs, invoices, export docs as applicable)
- Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, claims and any customer deduction (billback)
- Maintain accurate customer, vendor, shipment, and trade records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or business (preferred)
- Experience with US Customs, FDA/USDA import and labeling regulations preferred, but not a must.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English (Spanish is a plus)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills (customers, vendors, internal team)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, to attend 3-5 short Trade Shows per year.
