Role Description
As a Financial Services Representative, you will assist clients with their financial needs. and offer tailored solutions in areas such as retirement planning, investments, insurance, and other financial services. One important aspect of your role will be to help employees get the most out of their employer’s supplemental retirement plan, primarily a 403(b) or 457 plan, which means you’ll be working closely with employees who are in public education, K-12 and Higher Ed, healthcare professionals and employees in non-profit organizations. Beyond the worksite, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance client relationships, and your income potential, by delivering tailored solutions in areas such as retirement planning, investments, insurance and other financial services to your growing client base. This is a full-time wealth management sales position. While there are various on-site locations that you may work from, the position location is dictated by where our clients want to meet us. Proactive engagement with existing and prospective clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality is required to be successful in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with financial wellness fundamentals, investments, insurance products and services
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on building client relationships
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in team-oriented environment at a pace dictated by our clients
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Industry registrations and licenses REQUIRED – Series 6, 63, state insurance licenses.
- Additional industry registrations and designations that are an asset in this role – Series 7, 65/66. ChFC, CFP.
