Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in field service and equipment repair, with expertise in computer hardware and networking. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and maintaining various systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Duties
- Perform field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to computer hardware and networking systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment, such as voltmeters, for repairs and diagnostics.
- Exhibit mechanical knowledge to effectively address equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and networking principles.
- Familiarity with schematics and ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot low voltage systems effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
