We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deli Manager to join our team. As the leader of our deli department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service. This role requires a strong passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dynamic team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the deli department, including ordering, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Supervise and train a team of deli staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate catering services and ensure that all orders are fulfilled promptly and to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement innovative and effective strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct interviews and manage employee performance, ensuring that the team is motivated and productive.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and storage, are conducted in a safe and hygienic manner.
- Manage the bar area, including ordering and stocking drinks and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Assist with special events and functions, including weddings and corporate events.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the kitchen, dining area, and storage spaces.
- Help to develop and maintain a positive and supportive team culture.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Deli Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving sales and customer satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation, including catering and special events.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
