- Oversee all daily beverage and bar operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and exceptional service standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an innovative cocktail, wine, and beverage program aligned with the Voulez-Vous brand.
- Establish beverage service procedures, operational standards, and quality control measures.
- Ensure consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, and guest experience.
- Support pre-opening preparations, including bar setup, equipment selection, inventory planning, and operational procedures.
- Identify emerging beverage trends and introduce innovative offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Financial Management & Inventory Control
- Develop and manage beverage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance targets.
- Monitor beverage costs, pour costs, waste, and inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze beverage sales and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, stock rotation, and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate with vendors to maintain competitive pricing and product quality.
- Prepare beverage performance reports and monitor key financial indicators.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate bartenders and beverage staff.
- Develop comprehensive training programs focused on product knowledge, service excellence, and responsible alcohol service.
- Establish performance expectations and maintain accountability across the beverage team.
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure staff consistently meet luxury hospitality and service standards.
Guest Experience & Entertainment Operations
- Deliver exceptional beverage service tailored to VIP guests and premium dining experiences.
- Collaborate with restaurant management and entertainment teams to ensure seamless beverage service during live performances.
- Maintain efficient bar operations during high-volume dining and entertainment periods.
- Address guest feedback and resolve service-related concerns professionally.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and the overall beverage experience.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Florida alcohol service laws, licensing requirements, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout beverage service areas.
- Implement responsible alcohol service practices and ensure staff follow established procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of beverage management experience, preferably in fine dining, upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, or high-volume hospitality environments.
- Previous experience with restaurant openings or pre-opening operations is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop beverage programs, operational procedures, and service standards from the ground up.
- Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, mixology, and premium beverage service.
- Sommelier certification or advanced wine education is a plus.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, inventory control, beverage costing, and profitability analysis.
- Proven experience recruiting, training, and leading high-performing beverage teams.
- Experience with restaurant POS systems, inventory management software, and beverage reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
