What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quantity Surveyor position at Voto Consulting LLC?
Position- Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Measurer with Oil and gas exp
Location- Lebanon, IN
Type- 100% onsite
Visa- USC, GC only
MUST HAVE EXPERINCE:
- 10 years quantity surveying (sqft drywall, linear pipe distances, cable length)
- Must come from large project 200-300M pharma NOT required. Oil and gas works.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and track installed quantities across the project, including:
- Square footage of drywall
- Linear footage of piping
- Cable and electrical installations
- Other building and infrastructure components
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on field progress
- Monitor and report on construction progress against plan
- Work closely with construction and project controls teams to validate installed work
- Maintain clear documentation of measured quantities and progress metrics
- Ensure alignment between field progress and project reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Measurer, or similar role
- Strong background in field-based measurement of installed construction work
- Experience on large-scale capital projects ($200M–$300M )
- Ability to accurately quantify multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, architectural)
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills
