About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong WebLogic expertise to support a critical Exalogic to ExaUCS migration initiative. This role requires hands-on experience in enterprise Linux environments, along with Apache and WebLogic administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support migration of WebLogic environments from Exalogic to ExaUCS
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues
- Provide Linux administration support for WebLogic upgrade initiatives
- Drive change requests (CR) and implementation processes
- Perform patching, upgrades, and ongoing support for WebLogic environments
- Maintain systems at N-1 / N-2 version compliance
- Support upgrades for API Gateway / TIES / TIS (EOL systems)
Required Skills & Experience:
Linux Administration
- Linux server builds, cloning, and patching
- Java installation on Linux servers
- Installation of security tools (CrowdStrike, Illumio)
Apache / Web Server
- Install and configure Apache
- Configure proxy and load balancing
- Manage SSL certificates
WebLogic
- Install, configure, and patch WebLogic & SOA
- Configure WebLogic clusters
- Establish Apache–WebLogic connectivity
Infrastructure & Backup
- Create shared file systems & NFS mounts
- Install and manage Cohesity backup agent
- Coordinate backup and restore activities
Monitoring & Documentation
- Set up monitoring runbooks
- Maintain SOPs and configuration documentation
Nice to Have
- Experience with Exalogic / ExaUCS environments
- Exposure to enterprise migration projects
