We are seeking a highly dependable, detail-oriented Manufacturing Assistant to join our production team. Key Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment used for cutting, splicing, finishing, and assembling industrial belts.
Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and material specifications.
Ensure all belts are manufactured to exact tolerances and meet quality standards.
Perform detailed inspections on raw materials and finished products, identifying defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain accurate production records, including measurements, materials used, and process steps.
Follow safety procedures and equipment handling guidelines.
Assist with machinery setup
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing, machining, or a related industrial environment (belting experience is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and follow precise directions or production specifications.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools, and power tools
Strong measurement skills (tape measure, calipers, rulers) with the ability to maintain tight tolerances.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial conveyor belting, splicing processes, or fabrication.
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, work orders, and quality inspections.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and PPE requirements.
Work Environment
Fast-paced production floor.
May require lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
