Position Summary:
Essential Functions:
- Prepare work as requested by retired partners, delegate work to appropriate departments as needed due to workload, and assist with answering firm phones.
- Review, sort, and research Firm mail (mail not addressed to a specific attorney or addressed to an attorney no longer with the firm) and forward to the appropriate person/place.
- Learning the duties of the front desk to cover for the receptionist during extended breaks, lunches, as well as time out of the office.
- Assist Document Services Center with overflow work when time is available.
- Sort retiree mail received daily and forward any incoming mail for retirees not in the office on a weekly basis.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Excellent spelling and proofreading skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Word skills
- Typing (40 wpm)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and produce quality work
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and adaptable and flexible to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Strong team-working abilities
- MS Excel
- Intapp Flow
- iManage 10 / FileSite
- Chrome River
- PDF conversions and manipulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in similar field required.
- Previous experience with Vorys’ retired partners is preferred.
