Job Title: Customer Service Representative II (CSR)

Reports To: Office Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for acting as a brand ambassador for Vortex Cold Storage and all related customers and providing a pleasant, and positive, experience for all internal and external customers by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for data entry. *

2. Checks drivers in or out of the facility. *

3. Assists with filing and office inventory.

4. Be responsible and participate in making a positive Food Safety Culture, including but not limited to, being on the Food Safety Team. *

5. Assists in accident/incident inquiries and investigations when necessary. *

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and WMS.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to remain professional when dealing with stressful or difficult situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, drivers and associates.
