Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting surveillance activities. Your dedication will help safeguard personnel, property, and assets while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Shifts available:
7a-3pm
3pm-11pm
11pm-7am
- Your guard card must be in good standings with the state of New York.
- You must have your own vehicle.
Duties
- Control access to facilities by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks in accordance with company procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; additional training in conflict management and surveillance is a plus
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods of time
