Custodian - 1st Shift

• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Anticipates problems such as unavoidable delays in material shortages and informs area supervisor or other involved personnel, and/or solves problems as required.
• Requires lifting and transporting of waste and cardboard as necessary. Physical requirements for lifting medium and heavy weights, not to exceed 40 pounds, as required.
• May be required to operate hand lift truck or other material handling devices.
• Cleans restrooms, break rooms, office areas and conference rooms.
• May be required to perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by immediate supervisor within the scope of the job
• Support functions
• Assists in the training and qualification of other associates
• Assists in the development of more efficient ways of maintaining the plant
