Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Attorney to join our client’s team in Arlington, Texas. This is a hybrid role that provides flexibility while maintaining a regular in-office presence as needed. The Family Law Attorney will independently manage a full caseload of 30–40 active family law matters, handling cases from start to finish. Matters include divorce, custody, child support, adoption, CPS cases, paternity, and child emancipation. Guardianship experience is a plus but not required. The role will involve both litigation and mediation. The ideal candidate will engage in strategy sessions with clients to understand the facts of each case and define clear goals, ultimately crafting a tailored legal plan. They will guide clients through key decision points, clearly outlining options, strategies, and next steps to ensure informed choices are made. The attorney will prepare and file a full range of family law pleadings, including petitions, responses, judicial forms, summons, declarations and affidavits (from clients, attorneys, or third parties), divorce decrees, temporary and final orders, parenting plans, child support orders and worksheets, motions, replies, mediation summaries, and trial briefs. They will also prepare clients for court appearances, represent them at hearings and trials, and deliver top-quality client service throughout each matter. This role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to balance a high volume of cases, and a genuine passion for helping families navigate complex legal issues.

Required Skills And Background
- 4–5 years of family law experience (5 preferred).
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
- Strong litigation and mediation experience.
- Proficient in drafting pleadings, motions, and legal documents related to family law.
- Ability to independently manage 30–40 active cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and legal teams.
- Highly organized and able to meet court deadlines effectively.
- Proficient with or able to learn case management software quickly.
- Experience with guardianship matters (especially elder) is a plus.
- Comfortable consulting with potential clients in-person and via Microsoft Teams.
