Project Manager-Telecommunications

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager specializing in Telecommunications to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate construction schedules, and ensure the successful delivery of telecommunications systems that meet rigorous standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and telecommunications infrastructure, driving projects forward with energy, precision, and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating all phases of construction from design through commissioning.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools.
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progress.
• Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam to track project milestones, document progress, and manage RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Lead project meetings to review progress, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of developments.
• Ensure all work aligns with contractual obligations by managing contracts effectively and overseeing quality assurance processes.
• Supervise teams on-site and in-office to promote efficient workflow while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex telecommunications or infrastructure projects within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software like HeavyBid or similar programs.
• Expertise in reading blueprints and construction plans related to civil engineering and telecommunications systems.
• Hands-on experience with construction site management including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in project management software including ProCore, Prolog, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or equivalent platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations applicable to telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.
