Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and lead the charge in managing our warehouse operations with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, ensure smooth inventory control, and drive process improvements that boost efficiency. This position requires you to be able to work independently with minimum supervision. You must always be ready to seize the initiative. We would expect a candidate to take charge of the warehouse.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Issuing and auditing technician's materials
- Manage inventory control systems. Ensuring that we are properly stocked and orders are placed early
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline shipping & receiving operations.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, shipments, and incident reports to support operational transparency and accountability.
- Skills
- Expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse distribution strategies.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts; forklift certification preferred but not required. Willing to train
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control, shipping & receiving documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
