Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Valet Driver / Lot Attendant to join our Volvo dealership team. This position is responsible for safely picking up and delivering customer vehicles for service appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with dealership vehicle movement and lot organization. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and comfortable driving a variety of vehicles.
Duties
- Pick up customer vehicles from homes, businesses, or designated locations and safely transport them to the dealership for service.
- Deliver vehicles back to customers promptly upon service completion.
- Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and document vehicle condition before and after transport.
- Communicate professionally with customers during vehicle pickup and delivery.
- Move, park, and arrange vehicles on the dealership lot as directed.
- Assist the service and sales departments with vehicle transfers and miscellaneous errands.
- Ensure all vehicles are handled safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Assist with other dealership support duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
