Automotive Technician / Mechanic
Volusia Motors is a growing independent dealership in DeLand, Florida looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We work on a wide variety of vehicles including domestic, import, cars, trucks, and SUVs. We also install and service tires in-house.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on most makes and models
- Brake jobs, suspension work, tune-ups, oil changes, cooling systems, and general repairs
- Mount, balance, repair, and replace tires
- Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Requirements
- Must have your own tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
- Experience working on multiple vehicle makes and models
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Pay & Schedule
- 1099 Independent Contractor position
- Flat rate pay
- Paid weekly
- Full-time position
- Small shop environment with steady work
