SUPERVISES Coordinators, Specialists and support staff as assigned
POSITION GOAL
To provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of
programs and services designed to support student achievement, well-being, successful graduation, and
College and Career Acceleration (CCA).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops and implements a district-wide plan to improve graduation rates, reduce dropout rates, and increase participation in
CCA programs.
2. Creates and monitors systems for College and Career Acceleration, including dual enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP),
International Baccalaureate (IB), and career and technical education (CTE) programs.
3. Oversees the coordination and delivery of student support services, including counseling, mental health, social services, and
academic interventions.
4. Collaborates with school leaders and district departments to identify and address barriers to student success.
5. Monitors and analyzes student performance data, attendance, behavior, and participation in CCA programs to inform decisionmaking
and interventions.
6. Facilitates the development and implementation of early warning systems to identify at-risk students and provide targeted
support.
7. Oversees the development and implementation of alternative education programs and credit recovery options.
8. Collaborates with community partners and agencies to provide wrap-around services and support for students and families.
9. Ensures compliance with district, state, and federal policies and regulations related to student services, graduation
requirements, and CCA programs.
10. Develops and manages the department budget to effectively allocate resources and support program goals.
11. Supervises and evaluates the performance of department staff, including coordinators and specialists.
12. Performs all other duties as assigned by Chief of Staff.
