EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR GRADUATION
ASSURANCE AND STUDENT SERVICES
(STUDENT SERVICES)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Education Administration required; Doctorate preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of successful experience in education, including at least five (5) years of administrative experience
at the school or district level, with responsibilities related to student services, counseling, graduation assurance, or college and
career readiness programs
  • Minimum of three (3) years of providing formal plans that are strategic in nature and have a future impact beyond three years

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • A high degree of analytic ability and inductive thinking is required to review new, non-standard approaches to highly intricate,
technically complex problems
  • Independent judgment is required to review and approve major recommendations, establish procedures, and coordinate
technical and administrative recommendations with District-wide policies
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with a wide range of
stakeholders, including district leadership, school administrators, teachers, support staff, students, families, community
partners, and external agencies
  • Must be able to communicate complex information and data clearly and adapt communication style to various audiences
  • Requires the ability to build and maintain effective teams, delegate tasks, and make data-driven decisions
  • Must possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective programs
and services
  • Requires extensive knowledge in several professional disciplines and/or singular knowledge of a specialized advanced
discipline
  • Requires an extensive theoretical or highest level of organizational, and/or business knowledge to manage a major segment of
the School District

REPORTS TO Chief Academic Officer
SUPERVISES Coordinators, Specialists and support staff as assigned

POSITION GOAL
To provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of
programs and services designed to support student achievement, well-being, successful graduation, and
College and Career Acceleration (CCA).

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops and implements a district-wide plan to improve graduation rates, reduce dropout rates, and increase participation in
CCA programs.
2. Creates and monitors systems for College and Career Acceleration, including dual enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP),
International Baccalaureate (IB), and career and technical education (CTE) programs.
3. Oversees the coordination and delivery of student support services, including counseling, mental health, social services, and
academic interventions.
4. Collaborates with school leaders and district departments to identify and address barriers to student success.
5. Monitors and analyzes student performance data, attendance, behavior, and participation in CCA programs to inform decisionmaking
and interventions.
6. Facilitates the development and implementation of early warning systems to identify at-risk students and provide targeted
support.
7. Oversees the development and implementation of alternative education programs and credit recovery options.
8. Collaborates with community partners and agencies to provide wrap-around services and support for students and families.
9. Ensures compliance with district, state, and federal policies and regulations related to student services, graduation
requirements, and CCA programs.
10. Develops and manages the department budget to effectively allocate resources and support program goals.
11. Supervises and evaluates the performance of department staff, including coordinators and specialists.
12. Performs all other duties as assigned by Chief of Staff.

$108,365 to $124,566
