School Psychologist
Duties:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students
Provide counseling and support services to students, parents, and staff
Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop strategies for student success
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or difficult situations
Monitor student progress and make recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology
Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in a school district
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Strong assessment and evaluation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
