Employment Terms: This is 35 hours/week full-time, non-exempt position.

Summary: The VINES Farm Share Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Farm Share program, including program administration, financial management, logistics coordination, application processing, and distribution site management throughout the year, with shifts in focus between the main season and the winter extension. The position is primarily office-based with some travel to local distribution sites involved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Administer the program database (Salesforce) to track customer and sales data, manage customer communication, generate reports, and oversee application processing.
· Lead member outreach, communication and retention efforts (including develop marketing materials), handle inquiries, confirm sign-ups, provide payment information, and send newsletters.
· Manage the preparation and execution of all distributions and deliveries throughout the season.
· Coordinate procurement by ordering shares from partner farms and coordinating the receipt and physical packing of produce as needed.
· Oversee pick up site operations and staffing.
· Process member payments including cash, check, credit card, EBT, and other voucher payments.
· Manage subsidized share programs such as Medicaid, SNAP/EBT operations and the Double Up Food Bucks Program, including member eligibility verification and reporting to funders.
· Develop and oversee the off-season Farm Share program.
· Coordinate Member Education efforts, including food sampling, recipe provision, cooking tips, and demonstrations at distribution locations and for home delivery members.
· Recruit, train and supervise program staff as assigned, program volunteers, Empire State Service Corps members, interns to ensure adequate program staffing.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with partner farmers and community distribution sites.
· Contribute to social media presence and website updates on a weekly basis.
· Establish connections in the community with businesses and local agencies to support and deliver ongoing quality programming.
· Work with the Executive and Operations Directors to research, identify, and develop foundation and government grant proposals to support the Program and complete grant reporting.
· Creates and maintains the program budget in coordination with the Executive and Operations Directors and ensures that spending is in line with that budget.
· Maintain administrative thoroughness by updating and maintaining documentation on all Program procedures, policies, and internal filing systems.
· Drive program evaluation by continuously tracking program outcomes and evaluating impact against established goals.
· Represent VINES professionally to the public, community groups, and local agencies.
· Report quantitative and qualitative data on a monthly basis to the VINES Board of Directors.
· Manage other special projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
· Strong leadership and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize complex, multi-day, multi-site logistics and distribution schedules.
· Demonstrated customer service and sales experience, including the ability to follow up on outstanding payments, handle member account issues, and manage financial transactions.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as food service or high-volume logistics.
· Advanced computer and analytic skills, including substantial experience with or comfort with learning database use and management (e.g., Salesforce).
· Proficiency using Google Workspace (Chrome, Sheets, Docs, Forms), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher), social media, website content management, and email platforms.
· Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising staff, interns, and volunteers.
· Demonstrated commitment to the mission of VINES.
· Proven ability to maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date documentation on procedures and maintain organized internal filing systems.
· Sense of humor and ability to manage a busy environment.
· Effective written and oral communicator, capable of developing and distributing engaging, accessible member education materials (e.g., low-literacy, bilingual recipes and other content).
· Ability to work both independently and aspart of a team.
· Ability to work with people and recruit program participants from a variety of ages, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds; especially low-income populations.
· Experience in grant writing preferred.
· Connection or familiarity with the Binghamton community or similar demographic is beneficial.
Job Requirements
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record
· Experience driving large vehicles or comfort in learning how to.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the growing season and occasional weekends.
· Must be physically fit, able to lift 40 pounds, and willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
