Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B Drivers specializing in construction dump trucks to join our dynamic construction and transportation team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites and job locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth execution of construction projects, supporting various operations such as excavation, paving, grading, and site development.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks in accordance with federal and company safety regulations.
- Transport construction materials, debris, and equipment between sites efficiently while maintaining proper load securement.
- Perform routine inspections on trucks
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, loads, inspections, and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL license for dump trucks.
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations specific to heavy equipment operation.
- Construction site experience with familiarity in aggregate haul, grading work, paving projects, and utility installation.
- Strong understanding of construction materials handling and transportation logistics.
