Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is committed to enriching the lives of lonely and isolated older adults in San Francisco. Virtually all of our services are carried out by individual volunteers; community, civic, and religious groups; and the business community. LBFE offers flexible and diverse volunteer opportunities, and volunteers can choose to make weekly, monthly, or seasonal time commitments.

Celebrate PRIDE with us by spending a joyful morning connecting with an older adult in our community during our June PRIDE In-Home Visits on Saturday, June 27th from 10 30 AM – 12 30 PM!
While many of the older adults participating are part of the LGBTQIA community, this program is all about inclusion and connection so visits may also include older adults of all identities and backgrounds.
Volunteers will deliver a special LBFE gift bag and share a warm, friendly visit filled with conversation, laughter, and companionship.

How It Works
- On June 27th, volunteers will pick up their gift bag between 10 00 AM – 11 30 AM, then head to their assigned older adult’s home for a friendly visit anytime between 10 30 AM – 12 30 PM.
- Friends or family members are welcome to join, as long as one person in the group has completed an orientation and background check.
