Peer Support Aide - Part Time
Location: Livingston, TN
Peer Support Center
Immediate part-time opening for a compassionate Peer Support Aide/Van Driver to join our team. This position provides daily support to members, assists with recovery-based activities, and ensures safe transportation in a company van.
Responsibilities
Serve as a positive mentor and role model for members.
Promote recovery, wellness, and healthy daily activities.
Maintain professional boundaries and a safe, inclusive environment.
Assist members with recovery goals, symptom management, and resource navigation.
Provide education on triggers, symptoms, and wellness practices.
Lead or assist with support groups, activities, and community outings.
Complete required documentation and attend all assigned trainings.
Transport members safely on a scheduled route (F endorsement required).
Perform daily van safety checks and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
Support facility upkeep, cleaning, and closing duties.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid TN Driver’s License with F Endorsement and clean driving record.
Ability to engage positively with members and maintain strict confidentiality (HIPAA).
Strong communication, mentoring, and crisis awareness skills.
Must be dependable, professional, and supportive of member recovery.
Schedule
Part-time, Tuesdays and Fridays 9am to 5pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.42 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
