Operations Manager – Fulfillment & Distribution

Role Overview
The Operations Manager – Fulfillment & Distribution is responsible for executing day‑to‑day operations across company locations that function as fulfillment centers, not traditional retail stores. This role is accountable for ensuring efficient, accurate, and profitable order fulfillment through disciplined execution, standardized processes, and operational systems.
It is an execution‑heavy leadership role focused on operational efficiency, fulfillment performance, labor productivity, and consistent process adherence. Revenue impact is driven through speed, accuracy, cost control, and capacity utilization, not walk‑in sales.
Primary Objectives
- Operate stores as high-performance fulfillment centers
- Drive revenue through efficient execution and throughput
- Improve profitability through labor efficiency, process discipline, and waste reduction
- Implement, standardize, and enforce operational systems and processes
Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment Operations
- Oversee daily fulfillment activities
- Validate orders are picked, staged, and delivered accurately and on time
- Resolve bottlenecks impacting operations
Operational Execution & Efficiency
- Standardize and uphold all Voltrio standard operating procedures (SOPs) across locations
- Standardize and uphold consistency in workflows, layouts, labeling, and material handling
- Identify inefficiencies and execute process improvements
- Carryout and Improve all KPI’s
Process & Systems Implementation
- Help build and maintain scalable operational systems
- Present and follow up on relevant data daily, weekly, etc.
- Use data and metrics to drive daily execution decisions
Profitability & Cost Control
- Manage and mitigate controllable costs within operations
- Improve margins through waste reduction, efficiency, and execution
- Review inventory for accuracy, opportunities, and efficiencies
Team Leadership
- Lead warehouse and fulfillment teams with clear expectations
- Hold team members accountable to standards and performance
- Train staff on processes, safety, and execution expectations and continually inspect results
- Create a culture of safety, urgency, ownership, and accountability
- Partner with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives
