This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineer at our facility in Cottage Grove, MN. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing medical devices and components. Daily tasks will include creating technical documentation, troubleshooting and optimizing processes, conducting detailed analyses, working with advanced technologies such as PCB design, sensors, and regulatory compliance processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to life.
- Proficiency in designing and developing medical devices, including RD, sensors, and wearables
- Experience with CAD software, PCB design, and mold flow analysis
- Knowledge in processes like UV laser etching, RF welding, and ultrasonic welding
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance processes, including 510(k) submissions and approval requirements
- Experience in prototyping, plastic injection molding, and balloon component development
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate technical documentation
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical field
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus
