About The Role
Voltage is seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role supports and executes month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

About The Role
Voltage is seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role supports and executes month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).
What You’ll Do
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Perform timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve variances.
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capitalized projects.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Maintain GL structure within ERP system (SAP experience preferred).
- Support treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive accounting.
- Strong experience with full-cycle month-end close.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
