We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Building Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety standards across various commercial facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the environment remains professional, hygienic, clean, organized, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or related fields, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Schedule

Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial buildings
• Possibly conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high-quality flooring surfaces
• Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure thorough sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, and office spaces
• Handle all custodial tasks related to building upkeep, including window washing and light maintenance as needed
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning bathrooms and restocking supplies
• Wiping surfaces, windows, and high-touch areas

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors is highly desirable
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial
• Previous background in industrial cleaning can be advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
